It allows you to connect to a common PC monitor with VGA input devices such as video surveillance cameras or amateur tele cameras with AV RCA output or BNC with special adapter and S-VHS. Many game consoles, video recorders and DVD players also have this output, and can thus be viewed on PC monitors. The converter also has a pass-through VGA output for connecting a proximity monitor, and the three inputs are controlled by a special button: it is thus possible to maintain the connection of the video card to the PC monitor, and choose which source to display from time in turn.
