This USB Type-C to HDMI Converter DP Alt Mode allows you to connect a computer or notebook with a USB Type-C output to a TV, monitor or beamer with a HDMI input. The maximum supported resolution is 4096 x 2160 4K @ 30Hz. This resolution is ideal for displaying videos, pictures, presentations etc. Please make sure the USB Type-C port of your notebook supports DP Alt Mode.

The adapter supports alt mode, a functional extension of USB-C which enables the USB connection to carry non-USB signals. Alt Modes are optional capabilities that are unique to the USB-C connector or port that allow technologies, like DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 3, to be transmitted.
