Description

Premium Expanding Tape 300 is an impregnated self-expanding sealing tape. Used in covered joints and expansion joints. Expansion tape is a flexible polyurethane foam tape impregnated with a fire-resistant acrylic dispersion. The tape is airtight and protects the joint from dust, wind and rain with a pressure of up to 300 Pa. Self-adhesive sealing tape has excellent thermal and sound insulation properties. It is permanently flexible and moves with the joint.

Use
Premium Expanding Tape 300 is designed to provide weather protection and insulation in external joints, which are largely covered. Areas of application include joints of facades, doors and window frames, insulation of concrete and roof elements, wooden and log houses, sound insulation of interior and partition walls and insulation of ventilation equipment and air exchange equipment against sound and vibration.

– Very quick and easy installation
– Permanently flexible
– Impermeability to rain ≥ 300 Pa
– Fire class B2
– Airtightness against wind and dust
– Permeability to vapor diffusion
– Temperature resistance
– Compatible with most building materials
– Provides thermal insulation
– Provides sound insulation

Application procedure
The application temperature is from +5 ° C to +30 ° C. Avoid pressure cleaning or the use of highly acidic solvents. Self-adhesive sealing tape is unpainted.

How to use:
Select a suitable tape according to the width of the joint. Then select the tape width according to the depth of the joint. Make sure the joint is clean and dry. Cut the first and last 3-5 cm rolls of tape. One side of the tape is covered with an adhesive fabric to secure the sealant to the joint. Remove the layer of adhesive tape and press the tape to the surface. For visual reasons, install the sealing tape 2-3 mm inwards from the edge of the joint. The tape then begins to slowly expand and fill the gap. A more detailed user manual is available from the
manufacturer.

Technical parameters:

– Classification DIN 18542 BG2
– Rain tightness of joints DIN18542 ≥ 300 Pa
– Air permeability DIN 18542, EN 12114 ≤ 1.0 m3 / h * m * daPa 2/3
– Thermal conductivity 10, tr DIN EN 12667 ≤ 0.046 W / m • K
– Reaction to fire DIN 4102 B2
– Temperature resistance -40 – +90 ° C

Guaranteed shelf life is 1 year from the date of production when stored in a cool and dry place in the original packaging at temperatures between +1 ° C and + 20 ° C.
