Metal and power line detector UNI-T UT387A

The UT387A detector is mainly used for the detection of wooden partitions and metal profiles behind a plasterboard wall to facilitate assembly work. Two detection ranges – up to 19mm or up to 28.5mm. The higher range can be used for wooden floors and chipboard. The device also detects a sudden change in material thickness, which it displays using the LCD display and an audible signal. In this way, the edges of reinforcements, partitions and profiles behind the wall can be precisely marked. The detector also warns of the presence of metal objects and power cables with el. voltages that pose a danger, eg when drilling. The device is not intended for inspecting walls lined with tiles, carpets, sheet metal. A very useful tool for craftsmen, masons and floorers.
